The state policy in the field of certification is regulated by the Standardization, metrology and certification body (Uzstandart), which is the national certification body of Uzbekistan. The agency establishes the general rules for certification, publishes official information on regulations, determines the list of products subject to mandatory certification.

If other special certificates such as hygiene, veterinary, environmental health and certification of environmental standards and requirements are required within the scope of the regulations, you will also be informed by us.
The duration of the certification of the products should be done by taking into account the time of obtaining additional documents to the control and test conditions and / or test methods specified in the regulations regarding these products (health certificate, veterinary decision), but does not exceed 15 days.
The period of certification of perishable products (agricultural products and food products) does not exceed three days, including the day of filing. The need for verification of all regulatory requirements for Uzbekistan GOST-U Certification will in any case be determined by the certification body. Test results generated during the hygiene certification process will be required as part of the document file.
The applicant may also submit to the certification body the documents or completed test protocols related to the tests carried out by domestic or foreign test laboratories accredited or approved by the accreditation system of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Factory site inspection may be required for certification of conformity, especially for mass production. The inspection process is done and approved by our experts.
As a result of the audit, the certification body issues the factory audit protocol, which will be a part of the certification process. Inspection period is 10 days from the date of sampling.
Issues or rejects a certificate of conformity by us after examination of the documents submitted by the applicant. The certificate will be issued in the State language and/or Russian language. All issued certificates will be registered in the State Register of the national system certificate of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Certificate valid only if registration number is available.
The certificate of conformity for imported products is valid for one-time delivery (on a batch basis) and for mass production – for 3 years.
By us Uzbekistan GOST-U issuance of the certificate of conformity gives the manufacturer the right to use the certificate of conformity and the mark of conformity.
The certificate of conformity provided will be part of the shipping dossier for import. The certificate of conformity can be signed as an original or a copy and stamped by the certificate holder or the issuing authority. Also, notarized copies can be used.
In case of any change in product design (composition) or production technology that may affect the properties of the product, the Manufacturer company must notify us of this situation.
It is also important to know that after the certificate of conformity is issued, the certification body is obliged to regularly verify the compliance with the requirements in the certificates by performing the audit, control test of the certified products at least once a year.
UZBEKISTAN IS NOT YET INCLUDED IN THE CUSTOMS UNION (EAC).
