SASO Certificate
The Saso Certificate is a mandatory document for entry into the country by Saudi Arabia.
SASO Certificate examines and inspects whether the products to be imported into the country, prepared by the Saudi Arabian Standard Organization, comply with Saudi Arabian standards.
This document will be requested during customs clearance of exports to Saudi Arabia by Turkish exporters.
While the Certificate of Conformity for Goods Exported to Saudi Arabia was sufficient for export until 2004, the SASO Certificate became mandatory after this date. In order to prevent your products from staying in Saudi Arabian customs, research whether your products are within the scope of the document before exporting.
How to Obtain SASO Certificate?
In order to obtain the SASO Certificate, the products you will export must be inspected. After submitting the information about your products to us for inspection, our authorized inspectors will inspect your products on site and check their compliance with Saudi Arabian Standards and proforma invoice. You will be entitled to receive a certificate if there is no problem with the accuracy of the information you convey to us and your products comply with the standards.
